What people are saying about floz

“I never thought I'd need a smart shower until I got one. My mornings used to be wake up, scroll my phone forever, then finally stumble to a freezing cold shower. Now I just tell Google to warm it up while I'm still in bed scrolling. Hearing that water running actually makes me feel guilty enough to get up - which is genius because… I know it'll shut off once it hits my temperature. It's like having a little morning accountability buddy. Such a simple thing, but it totally changed how I start my day.”

Meet the team behind floz

Who are we?

Two men standing in front of a brick wall, smiling at the camera.

Floz was created by David Gengler and Cameron Gibbs; the pair behind ZAGGmate, the world’s first iPad keyboard, and Noke, the world’s first Bluetooth Padlock.

David and Cameron are passionate about design and using creative solutions to solve a variety of complex problems. Their products have received dozens of patents, numerous awards like the CES Design and Engineering Award and the prestigious Red Dot Award. They’ve also been featured on countless blogs and TV shows.

After the wildly successful launch of the ZAGGmate iPad Keyboard in 2010, David and Cameron wanted to try something new. In 2013, Cameron and David Co-founded Fuz Designs and later, Noke Inc. They used Kickstarter to launch the EverDock, the Fuz iPhone case, Noke Padlock, and the Noke U-lock. These product launches were highly successful and allowed Noke to grow into a team of a few dozen hardware and software engineers.

As Noke grew, David and Cameron had the privilege of working with some of the best and brightest talent in a wide variety of fields. As these experts described problems, Noke created solutions.  The Noke smart locks were used in transportation, oil & gas, security, and self storage. The nexus of world-class hardware and software helped Noke and our partners secure doors for hundreds of thousands of people across the globe.

After selling Noke to a publicly traded company, David and Cameron set their sites on creating custom technology for the plumbing industry. The Floz shower head is the first manifestation of that process.

We hope you join us in this exciting journey!
